Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience or strong familiarity with middle school-aged students
- Comfortable working full-time hours
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of an educational support team
- Familiarity with assessment tools, IEP development, and counseling techniques
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations, interpret assessment results, and support eligibility determinations for special education services
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop appropriate IEPs and intervention plans
- Provide individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) meetings and data-driven decision-making
- Consult with school personnel regarding best practices for student achievement, behavioral strategies, and classroom accommodations
- Support crisis interventions as needed
