Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience or strong familiarity with middle school-aged students
  • Comfortable working full-time hours
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of an educational support team
  • Familiarity with assessment tools, IEP development, and counseling techniques

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations, interpret assessment results, and support eligibility determinations for special education services
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop appropriate IEPs and intervention plans
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) meetings and data-driven decision-making
  • Consult with school personnel regarding best practices for student achievement, behavioral strategies, and classroom accommodations
  • Support crisis interventions as needed
