Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Strong understanding of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and special education evaluation processes
- Excellent communication, assessment, and counseling skills
- Ability to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and participate in multidisciplinary teams
- Prior experience in a school setting is highly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students referred for evaluation
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create and implement student support strategies
- Deliver evidence-based interventions and counseling to individuals and groups
- Assist in crisis intervention and contribute to the development of school-wide mental health initiatives
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for academic and behavioral supports
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district, state, and professional standards
