Qualifications:

  • Active Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist certification required
  • Educator credential: School Psychology license issued by the board of examiners of psychologists
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive educational atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and families to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling, intervention, and crisis support as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop strategies that promote student success
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation consistent with regulatory guidelines
  • Support student development, advocate for their needs, and contribute to a safe and welcoming school climate
