Qualifications:
- Active Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist certification required
- Educator credential: School Psychology license issued by the board of examiners of psychologists
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive educational atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and families to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling, intervention, and crisis support as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop strategies that promote student success
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation consistent with regulatory guidelines
- Support student development, advocate for their needs, and contribute to a safe and welcoming school climate
