A school psychologist position is available to provide comprehensive psychological services to students in grades K-5 and 9-12. This role involves working within a school environment to support student mental health, learning, and behavioral needs through assessments, counseling, and collaboration with educators and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify students’ learning and emotional needs
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Provide counseling and support to students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with students in K-5 and high school settings (grades 9-12) preferred
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
