Key Qualifications:

  • Active state licensure and certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience supporting elementary and/or high school students
  • Proficiency with conducting assessments and writing educational reports
  • Strong communication skills for working with students, educators, and families
  • Understanding of IEP processes and special education protocols
  • Ability to provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
  • Adaptable, organized, and committed to ongoing professional development

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and academic evaluations for students in grades K-5 and 9-12
  • Develop, review, and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to implement effective interventions
  • Support multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI)
  • Deliver individual and group counseling to address student needs
  • Assist in crisis intervention and collaborate on behavior management plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
