Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Washington state
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings, preferably in school districts or similar environments
  • Familiarity with conducting assessments, creating individualized education plans (IEPs), and implementing evidence-based interventions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
  • Ability to maintain detailed records and adhere to ethical guidelines
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion within school communities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas of need
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor IEPs and 504 plans
  • Provide direct support through counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation for students, staff, and families
  • Utilize data to drive interventions that promote students’ academic and social-emotional growth
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise on learning, behavior, and mental health issues
  • Remain current with best practices in school psychology and district protocols
