Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Washington state
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings, preferably in school districts or similar environments
- Familiarity with conducting assessments, creating individualized education plans (IEPs), and implementing evidence-based interventions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Ability to maintain detailed records and adhere to ethical guidelines
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion within school communities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas of need
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor IEPs and 504 plans
- Provide direct support through counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation for students, staff, and families
- Utilize data to drive interventions that promote students’ academic and social-emotional growth
- Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise on learning, behavior, and mental health issues
- Remain current with best practices in school psychology and district protocols
