School Psychologist in Arvada, CO

This full-time, onsite opportunity requires a skilled professional committed to delivering the best in school psychological services. Assignments will be tailored according to district needs and may span Early Childhood Education through High School. As a dedicated team member, you’ll be addressing a variety of academic, social, emotional, and mental health needs across a diverse student population.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years previous experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting
• Master’s, Specialist’s, or Doctorate in School Psychology
• Active CDE Special Service Provider License endorsement in School Psychology
• Strong student assessment skills and up-to-date expertise in best practices
• Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal and collaborative abilities
• Calm under pressure, exceptional critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Tech-savvy with strong computer and documentation skills
• Experience working with culturally and educationally diverse communities

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct mental health services such as individual and group counseling aligned to IEP goals
• Develop and implement interventions at the individual, group, or systems level
• Perform comprehensive assessments and create evaluation reports and IEP goals
• Lead and assist in crisis interventions, suicide/threat assessments, and safety planning
• Consult with families, teachers, staff, and external providers to support student adjustment and progress
• Participate in IEP, MTSS, behavioral health, and other collaborative meetings
• Offer psychoeducation, mental health resources, and behavioral interventions to students and staff
• Maintain accurate service logs, progress monitoring data, and required documentation
