Take your expertise in school psychology to the next level by providing direct support to students across two school sites in the vibrant Denver area. This full-time contract opportunity runs from now through May 2027, engaging you in impactful work Monday through Friday. Assignments range from early childhood to high school, with actual placements filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver individual and group counseling services to special education students, addressing academic, social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health goals in alignment with IEPs
  • Document services through progress reports, logs, and evaluation reports
  • Develop and monitor interventions to support students across academic and behavioral needs
  • Provide mental health services within both special education and general education settings
  • Conduct and interpret comprehensive assessments—cognitive, social, emotional, behavioral, and adaptive
  • Participate in crisis response, including suicide risk and threat assessments, and crisis management teamwork
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, outside providers, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student well-being
  • Engage in IEP development, team meetings, data collection, and functional behavioral assessment
  • Offer psychoeducation and professional development for students, families, and staff
  • Support home and wellness visits, and coordinate with community resources

Qualifications:

  • Master’s, Specialist’s, or Doctorate in School Psychology
  • Active Colorado license as a Special Service Provider in School Psychology
  • Minimum three years of prior experience in school settings
  • Exceptional assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Calm, organized, and effective in crisis situations
  • Strong computer skills and cultural competency
  • Able to complete all required background and fingerprinting processes
