School Psychologist - Arvada, CO

Elevate your career as a school psychologist in the Denver area, where you’ll play a pivotal role providing direct mental health and educational support to students from early childhood through high school. Full-time contract positions are available, each assigned to two schools with diverse caseloads based on current openings. These roles require an adaptable professional ready to deliver a full spectrum of psychological services exclusively onsite.

Preferred Experience & Credentials:

• Minimum of three years’ prior experience in a school setting
• Master’s, Specialist’s, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
• Active Special Service Provider License (School Psychology endorsement) with the Colorado Department of Education
• Proficiency in providing IEP-driven mental health services, including individual and group counseling for special education students
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and crisis management skills
• Strong assessment background: cognitive, social, emotional, behavioral, and adaptive functioning
• Experience managing multiple priorities and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, including teachers, administrators, outside agencies, and families
• Current with best practices in school psychology, and highly competent with technology platforms used for documentation and communication

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement tailored interventions and support plans for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Participate in and contribute to special education and multidisciplinary meetings
• Conduct suicide risk and threat assessments; report child abuse concerns and crisis management when necessary
• Facilitate IEP assessments, create progress reports, and document service delivery
• Provide psychoeducation, professional development, and community resource integration for staff, students, and families
• Deliver both direct services and consultation for general and special education populations
