Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s, Specialist, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
• Active Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider License in School Psychology
• Previous school-based experience required
• Proven expertise in conducting cognitive, behavioral, and social/emotional assessments
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities for collaboration across disciplines
• Adept at crisis management and maintaining a calm, effective presence
• Ability to work efficiently with diverse students, families, and staff
• Highly organized with the capacity to manage multiple caseloads and priorities
• Technological proficiency for documentation and virtual collaboration
• Completion of district-required background check and fingerprinting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group counseling as outlined in IEPs
• Develop and implement interventions addressing academic, behavioral, and social/emotional needs
• Provide mental health support in classrooms, including crisis response, risk assessments, and safety planning
• Conduct and interpret cognitive, behavioral, and adaptive skill assessments
• Complete documentation: evaluation reports, service logs, and progress monitoring
• Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and outside agencies
• Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and professional development
• Offer psychoeducation, consultative services, and connect students with community resources
