School Psychologist - Arvada, CO

Step into a meaningful role dedicated to supporting students' developmental and educational needs as a School Psychologist. We are seeking two Evaluation Team Psychologists for a contract opportunity beginning as soon as possible and continuing through May 21, 2027. This assignment is located onsite in the Arvada, CO area and focuses on providing assessment services for the Child Find Evaluation Team at North Star Elementary and other district locations.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Colorado Department of Education Special Service License with School Psychologist (ages 0-21) endorsement
• Experience conducting comprehensive psychological and eligibility evaluations for children from birth to age 21
• Familiarity with Child Find processes, best practices in assessment, and special education eligibility criteria
• Bilingual skills are highly desirable, as one opening supports district-level bilingual evaluations (bilingual Early Childhood Special Education teachers are also considered)
• Must be able to work fully in person; remote or hybrid arrangements are not available
• Ability to complete all onboarding, including a district contractor packet, prior to assignment start
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough child find evaluations at North Star Elementary and, if assigned, additional district sites
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators to interpret assessment data and make eligibility recommendations
• Support the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) when appropriate
• Maintain documentation and adhere to district guidelines and compliance standards
• Assignments are full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with one school site per psychologist
