School Psychologist in Arvada, CO

Make a meaningful difference supporting students’ mental health needs in a dynamic high school environment. This full-time, on-site contract role offers the opportunity to provide psychological and evaluation services to diverse high school students, including those with mild to significant support and affective needs. You’ll be part of a collaborative team dedicated to enriching student outcomes and upholding the highest standards of care.

What You’ll Bring:

• Valid Colorado Department of Education Special Service License (SSL) with School Psychologist (Ages 0-21) Endorsement
• Experience in special education settings strongly preferred
• Background supporting students with IEPs, particularly mental health services
• Familiarity with conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and child find evaluations
• Bilingual skills a plus, especially for district-level evaluation roles
• Strong interpersonal skills, team collaboration, and student-centered approach
• Ability and commitment to work fully on-site (no remote or hybrid options)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct mental health services and psychological support to assigned high school students
• Serve as part of an evaluation team (with options in high school settings, child find teams, and district-level bilingual support)
• Complete child find evaluations—locations may include North Star Elementary, Centennial Elementary, and other district sites
• Maintain thorough records, documentation, and required reporting
• Work closely with educators, families, and support staff to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and interventions
• Engage in service minutes as required by campus or role

What to Expect:

• Full-time, in-person schedule of 37.5 hours per week during the academic year
• Opportunity to focus on a single campus or rotate among evaluation teams, depending on assignment
• Age group primarily high-school, with opportunities in younger grades for evaluation roles
