Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification
  • Previous experience in educational settings, preferably with primary and elementary populations
  • Strong understanding of psychoeducational assessments and report writing
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to organize and manage a caseload in a busy school environment

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations for students, with an emphasis on primary and elementary grades
  • Support fellow school psychologists by sharing insights and providing coverage as needed
  • Analyze data, prepare clear and comprehensive reports, and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
  • Consult with teachers and parents to inform instructional strategies and interventions
  • Remain current with state and federal regulations for special education evaluation
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and team meetings throughout the school year

Assignment Details:

  • Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week
  • Academic year contract, beginning July 27, 2026 and ending May 26, 2027
  • Caseload involves supporting district psychologists, with a main focus on assessment of younger students (Pre-K to elementary age), and occasional work with older students as needed
