Requirements and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist.
- Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting preferred.
- Ability to perform psychological and academic assessments.
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education laws.
- Exceptional communication and report-writing skills.
- Capacity to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, parents, and students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education services.
- Develop and interpret assessment results to create individualized recommendations.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams.
- Offer consultation and support to school staff and families regarding student behavior, learning needs, and social-emotional interventions.
- Help implement preventative mental health and behavioral programs within the school community.
- Maintain accurate, confidential student records and comply with all federal and state regulations.
