Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and student-focused School Psychologist to join a supportive school district near Atlanta, Georgia for the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity is available on a full-time or part-time basis and offers flexibility for experienced school psychologists seeking a meaningful role in K-12 education.

The School Psychologist will primarily support assessment, evaluation, and intervention services while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to help students achieve academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success.

Position Details:

• Position: School Psychologist
• Location: Near Atlanta, GA
• School Year: 2026-2027
• Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time
• Setting: K-12 School-Based
• Potential Itinerant Position (Travel Between Campuses May Be Required)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students referred for special education services.
• Administer and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and adaptive functioning assessments.
• Complete eligibility determinations and evaluation reports in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Participate in MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) evaluations and data-driven intervention planning.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and special education teams to support student achievement.
• Attend eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Provide consultation regarding academic interventions, behavior management strategies, and student support services.
• Travel between assigned school sites as needed if serving in an itinerant capacity.

Qualifications:

• Specialist Degree (Ed.S.), Master's Degree, or Doctorate in School Psychology.
• Georgia School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing evaluation reports.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
