Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and active state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in educational settings preferred
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving school needs
Responsibilities Include:
- Performing psychological assessments, evaluations, and interpreting results to guide educational decisions
- Developing student intervention plans in collaboration with teachers and support staff
- Consulting with parents, faculty, and administrators regarding student needs
- Supporting Individualized Education Plans (IEP) through participation in meetings and recommendations
- Offering crisis intervention and short-term counseling as needed
- Promoting a positive and inclusive school climate focused on student well-being
