Bring your expertise in school psychology to a dynamic educational environment located near Auburn, KS. This full-time contract role offers the unique opportunity to serve students from August 6, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with schedule flexibility and potential for a hybrid work arrangement (three days in-person, two days virtual). The district is open to adjusting the grade level and caseload based on your strengths, but there is a particular need for high school re-evaluations.

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:

  • Active Kansas school psychologist license
  • Previous experience conducting student evaluations, with a preference for high school re-evaluations
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills, both in-person and virtually
  • Ability to manage a flexible caseload and adjust to shifting district needs
  • Knowledge of current assessment tools and best practices in school psychology

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive student evaluations, focusing on high school re-evaluations
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, counselors, and families to develop effective educational strategies
  • Documenting findings, preparing necessary reports, and participating in IEP meetings
  • Assisting with crisis intervention and providing consultative support to school staff
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all state and district guidelines
