Qualifications:

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • State certification or license as a School Psychologist
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred, but strong new graduates are also encouraged to apply
  • Comprehensive knowledge of evaluation procedures, IEP processes, and assessment tools
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas for growth
  • Develop and implement effective interventions for academic, social, and behavioral needs
  • Support teachers, administrators, and families by providing insight and recommendations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines
