Qualifications:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- State certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience in school-based settings preferred, but strong new graduates are also encouraged to apply
- Comprehensive knowledge of evaluation procedures, IEP processes, and assessment tools
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas for growth
- Develop and implement effective interventions for academic, social, and behavioral needs
- Support teachers, administrators, and families by providing insight and recommendations
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines
