As a School Psychologist working with diverse student populations across grades K–12, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to foster students’ social, emotional, and academic success.

Your ability to assess, advocate, and implement individualized strategies will ensure all learners receive the support they need to thrive. This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with both elementary and secondary school students near Auburn, NY.

Qualifications:

  • Holds a valid School Psychologist certification.
  • Experience working with students in grades K–5, 6–8, and/or 9–12.
  • Demonstrated skill in conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and facilitating positive behavioral supports.
  • Effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, counselors, and administrative staff.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations to assess students’ cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and intervention plans.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed.
  • Serve as a resource for faculty and parents regarding student development and learning issues.
  • Participate in meetings, consultations, and professional development.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school, state, and federal guidelines.
