Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid certification as a School Psychologist in Washington state
- Comprehensive understanding of special education processes, IEPs, and Response to Intervention (RTI)
- Experience conducting assessments, developing interventions, and providing counseling in a K-12 school setting
- Strong communication and consultation skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Flexibility and adaptability to quickly integrate into a new school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and educational assessments
- Interpret assessment results to help guide interventions and support services
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators on strategies for student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of effective educational plans
- Provide individualized and/or group counseling to support students’ social-emotional needs
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed
