Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid certification as a School Psychologist in Washington state
  • Comprehensive understanding of special education processes, IEPs, and Response to Intervention (RTI)
  • Experience conducting assessments, developing interventions, and providing counseling in a K-12 school setting
  • Strong communication and consultation skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Flexibility and adaptability to quickly integrate into a new school setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological and educational assessments
  • Interpret assessment results to help guide interventions and support services
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators on strategies for student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of effective educational plans
  • Provide individualized and/or group counseling to support students’ social-emotional needs
  • Offer crisis intervention and support as needed
