Key Qualifications:

• Active state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
• Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a closely related field
• Experience with psychological assessments, IEP development, and data-driven intervention planning
• Strong understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and special education procedures
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students’ cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral strengths and needs
• Support the creation and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and monitor interventions and accommodations
• Provide consultation and training to teachers, staff, and parents on effective strategies for student support and learning
• Assist in crisis response and intervention, contributing to a safe and supportive school climate
• Foster positive relationships with students to promote their overall well-being
