School Psychologist | Aurora, Colorado

Step into a pivotal school-based role supporting students from early childhood through high school, delivering vital assessment and mental health services within a dynamic educational environment. This full-time, onsite contract position serves two schools in the Denver area, with caseload assignments offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Your expertise will empower diverse learners and play an integral part in comprehensive student support and crisis intervention.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s, Specialist’s, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
• Active CDE Special Service Provider License with a School Psychology endorsement
• At least three years of prior school psychology experience
• Demonstrated skills in student assessment, progress monitoring, and IEP evaluations
• Proficiency in conducting crisis management, safety planning, and threat assessment
• Strong background in collaborative problem solving, functional behavioral assessments, and intervention planning
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately across diverse populations
• Advanced computer and documentation skills
• Completion of district-required background check and fingerprinting

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct group and individual mental health counseling aligned with IEP goals
• Develop, implement, and document system-level and individual student interventions
• Conduct cognitive, behavioral, and adaptive assessments; write clear evaluation reports and educational impact statements
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, MTSS teams, and behavioral health initiatives
• Collaborate with educators, families, and community professionals to support each student's success
• Deliver psychoeducation, professional development, home visits, and resource coordination for students and families
• Respond effectively to crisis situations, provide risk assessments, and assist in crisis recovery for classrooms
