Licensed Middle School School Psychologist in Aurora, CO

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and valid certification as a School Psychologist
• Licensed to practice in the state as required
• Experience providing psychological services in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
• Strong understanding of special education processes, evaluations, and IEP development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, educators, and families
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results to help inform individualized educational planning
• Provide counseling and intervention services that address student learning, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies and interventions that support student success
• Assist with crisis intervention and prevention programs as needed within the school community
• Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to all professional and ethical standards
