Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid state certification and licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience or familiarity working with elementary, middle, and high school student populations
  • Knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education processes
  • Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive school culture
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying school needs and schedules

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and educational assessments, interpreting results to guide student support plans
  • Develop and help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans in collaboration with team members
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed to support student mental health
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote academic and behavioral success
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, case conferences, and school improvement initiatives
  • Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines
