Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ previous school psychology experience
- Master’s, Specialist, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
- Active CDE Special Service Provider License (School Psychology endorsement)
- Strong technology, assessment, communication, and crisis management skills
- Capacity to collaborate effectively with diverse families, staff, and service providers
Position Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct counseling and consultation (individual, group, classroom) for special education students
- Complete comprehensive cognitive, behavioral, social, and emotional assessments
- Lead crisis management activities, including risk assessments and safety planning
- Report, document, and monitor student progress per IEP goals
- Engage in collaborative meetings, professional development, and family communications
- Support community resource coordination and general education interventions
