Qualifications:
- Previous experience in schools required
- Master’s, Specialist’s, or Doctorate in School Psychology
- Active CDE Special Service Provider License with School Psychology endorsement
- Strong assessment, communication, and crisis management abilities
- Proficient with current technology
- Must complete district credentialing/background check
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct counseling, develop and monitor interventions, and conduct evaluations for special education students
- Manage crisis situations, including suicide risk assessments and safety plans
- Complete comprehensive assessments and write evaluation reports
- Collaborate in IEP and MTSS meetings
- Consult with staff, families, and external agencies
- Provide professional development and psychoeducation
- Support behavioral and academic initiatives school-wide
