Elementary Certified School Psychologist - Aurora, IL

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students as a dedicated School Psychologist working with young learners in grades K-5. In this full-time, contract opportunity, you’ll be supporting a welcoming school community near Aurora, IL, where your expertise will guide both students and staff to success.

Your role will encompass a rich variety of responsibilities that allow you to collaborate, lead, and grow professionally:

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois School Psychologist Certification
• Experience (or enthusiasm) for working with elementary-aged students
• Skill in conducting educational and psychological evaluations
• Familiarity with the MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) process
• Strong communication skills and comfort in team settings

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to support student development and learning needs
• Actively assist with the MTSS process, collaborating with teachers and interventionists
• Attend and contribute to IEP and student support meetings
• Work closely with the school's Social Worker and SLP, forming a multidisciplinary team
• Consult with teachers and families, ensuring students’ social, emotional, and academic growth
