This role supports a diverse student population in a collaborative educational environment near Aurora, IL. Multiple positions are available, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule of 37.5 hours per week and flexibility for one remote workday weekly.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience supporting Pre-K to 8th grade students, with strong background in eligibility determination and special education processes
  • Proven skill in leading and scheduling eligibility meetings with multidisciplinary teams
  • Expertise in MTSS problem-solving frameworks and application
  • Competence in screening, consultation, and conducting thorough psychological evaluations
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and guide intervention strategies that support student growth
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage assessment timelines, meetings, and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take a leadership role in facilitating eligibility meetings, ensuring all team members are engaged and informed
  • Coordinate all aspects of the eligibility process, from scheduling meetings to preparing required documentation
  • Serve as a key member of the multidisciplinary diagnostic team, sharing expertise and insight
  • Engage in MTSS meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions
  • Plan, schedule, and conduct comprehensive initial evaluations for students
  • Provide consultation services to teachers and families on academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
  • Collaborate closely with educators to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
