Key Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois School Psychologist licensure (required)
  • Experience or strong interest in working with high school-aged students
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 30 students
  • Demonstrated skills in assessments, counseling, and consultation within a school environment
  • Must be available to work onsite during designated hours
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for students in need of support
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans in collaboration with teachers and families
  • Offer direct counseling services to students, fostering their social-emotional well-being
  • Provide consultative support to staff and families regarding interventions and strategies for student success
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, acting as a resource for evidence-based practices
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with state and district guidelines
