Make an impact as a full-time School Psychologist working with high school students across two locations in a welcoming educational environment near Aurora, IL. This contract position offers an engaging opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams while supporting academic, social, and behavioral growth for students.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or National Certified School Psychologist certification
  • In-depth knowledge of research-based assessment tools and their application
  • Experience crafting targeted intervention plans to foster academic and behavioral success
  • Familiarity with state and federal special education regulations, including IDEA, Section 504, and “child find” processes
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills with diverse stakeholders

Responsibilities:

  • Lead student support teams in Functional Behavioral Assessments and development of Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Consult with parents and guardians regarding evaluated students, providing clear strategies to support learning at school and home
  • Present testing data and observations to IEP teams and assist in disability identification
  • Coordinate and facilitate IEP meetings, including collaborating with staff, documenting processes, and serving as LEA representative when needed
  • Deliver direct individual and group counseling for students facing academic, social, or behavioral challenges
  • Partner with teachers to address student concerns, assist with behavioral management programs, and support differentiated classroom structures
  • Participate as a valued member of the School Support Team in the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) model
  • Serve as a liaison connecting school and community resources to support students and families
