School Psychologist - Austin, IN

This contract position offers the chance to provide direct impact through specialized evaluations and collaboration with educators and families. You’ll work onsite across three school buildings, with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM.

Qualifications and Desired Skills:

• Hold a valid Indiana School Psychologist license
• Demonstrated experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and eligibility evaluations is preferred
• Solid understanding of special education law and compliance standards
• Effective communicator who collaborates comfortably with staff, families, and administration
• Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage timelines and caseloads efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete approximately 70 special education evaluations each year, supporting students across multiple school locations
• Collaborate with instructional teams to discuss findings, develop intervention strategies, and ensure appropriate placements
• Actively participate in monthly multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights and developing best practices
• Work closely with families and other stakeholders to advocate for student needs and provide guidance during the evaluation process
• Report directly to the district supervisor to ensure consistency and compliance with district and state requirements
