This contract position seeks an experienced School Psychologist ready to make a meaningful impact across grade levels, including a 9th grade center with possibilities to support both elementary and middle school students. Enjoy the advantage of a hybrid work schedule, with one virtual day approved each week and four days dedicated to on-site engagement.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Demonstrated expertise in cognitive and achievement testing, especially for SLD and Dyslexia evaluations
  • Experience implementing counseling interventions and supporting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
  • Comfort working with a range of exceptionalities, including Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), Other Health Impairment (OHI), and Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD)
  • Familiarity with current best practices supporting diverse learners
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, including cognitive/achievement assessments for SLD and Dyslexia
  • Deliver targeted counseling services and facilitate group or individual interventions as needed
  • Lead and participate in the development and monitoring of FBA/BIPs
  • Provide expert consultation and advocacy for students with AU, ED, OHI, SLD, and Dyslexia
  • Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to promote positive outcomes for students
  • Share professional insight at ARD/IEP meetings and support the implementation of best practices school-wide
