This contract role offers the opportunity to work onsite across three school buildings, where you will play a pivotal part in supporting special education evaluations and fostering student success.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 3:15 PM
Onsite assignment, supporting students and staff directly within school settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct approximately 70 psychoeducational evaluations annually, ensuring timely and accurate assessments in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Support the comprehensive special education process over three different buildings, adapting to diverse student needs and collaborating consistently with educational teams.
- Engage actively in monthly team meetings, sharing insights, updates, and strategies to best serve the school community.
- Communicate and work closely with staff, families, and administration to facilitate positive relationships and effective interventions.
- Report directly to the district supervisor and contribute to the district’s mission of providing high-quality educational support services.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana School Psychologist license (required).
- Demonstrated experience in administering psychoeducational assessments and determining special education eligibility.
- Strong knowledge of special education law, compliance practices, and documentation processes.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in all professional duties.
