School Psychologist in Avon, IN

Working Monday through Friday from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, you’ll have the chance to assess, support, and advocate for students while directly contributing to effective special education programming in an onsite educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Indiana School Psychologist license
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and determining eligibility for special education services (preferred)
• Thorough understanding of special education law and compliance requirements
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete roughly 70 psychoeducational evaluations per year, ensuring accurate and timely eligibility determinations
• Provide support and consultation across three school sites, responding to diverse needs within each building
• Work closely with teaching staff, related service providers, families, and administrators to develop and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Participate in monthly team meetings to discuss student progress, share insights, and align on best practices
• Report directly to the district supervisor, maintaining compliance with all district and state special education procedures
