Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
- Demonstrated skills in psychological assessment, counseling, and behavior intervention
- Understanding of Special Education processes, including IEP development and team collaboration
- Strong organizational abilities and effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability in a changing educational setting
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including cognitive, behavioral, and emotional evaluations for students
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administration to recommend interventions and support academic and social-emotional needs
- Develop and implement strategies for crisis intervention and prevention
- Contribute expertise during IEP meetings, supporting Special Education eligibility determinations and planning
- Provide short-term counseling and consultation to students, families, and educators
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
