An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to work with K-12 students in a supportive educational setting near Cairo, GA. This full-time contract position runs from July 15, 2025, through May 22, 2026, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the academic year. You’ll be involved 32.5–35 hours each week, supporting students across a diverse caseload.
Ideal candidates are either newly certified or bring previous school-based experience, and possess a passion for fostering student growth and well-being. The role emphasizes collaboration with both staff and families to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Experience working with students in elementary, middle, or high school grades preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and report-writing skills
- Ability to implement interventions and participate in IEP and eligibility meetings
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
- Capacity to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions
- Consult with school staff, administrators, and families regarding student needs
- Participate in special education eligibility meetings and provide support for IEP development
- Maintain timely documentation and evaluation records
- Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts as needed
