This onsite position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young students while collaborating closely with educational professionals. Each day, you’ll spend 7.25 hours supporting early learners, faculty, and families with your skillset and expertise.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid New York State School Psychologist certification (required)
  • Previous experience in elementary (K-2) settings preferred
  • Familiarity with CSE/CPSE processes; chairperson training or experience is strongly desired
  • Strong assessment skills and comfort with a variety of evaluation tools and methodologies
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, organizational, and leadership abilities

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a high volume of student assessments to support academic and behavioral success
  • Serve as chairperson for CSE meetings, leading collaborative discussions and planning
  • Work across multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement student IEPs and support plans
  • Consult with educators, administrators, and families, providing expertise on psychological and educational matters
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to compliance standards
  • Advocate for the mental health and well-being of all students in a supportive learning environment
