A contract opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist specializing in early childhood evaluations. This position involves working within an elementary school setting, focusing exclusively on the Child Find Program, assessing children ages 3 to 5 years old.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations for preschool-aged children referred to the Child Find Program
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to support early identification and intervention
- Preparing detailed reports of assessments to guide educational planning and services
- Maintaining accurate and confidential records consistent with professional and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland School Psychologist License
- Experience conducting evaluations for young children within early childhood or preschool settings
- Strong understanding of developmental, cognitive, and behavioral assessments appropriate for ages 3 to 5
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with families and school teams
Schedule & Location:
- Position based in Baltimore, MD, within an elementary school environment
- Approximately 7 paid hours per day plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch
- Three days per week (8:45 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.)
- Contract duration from ASAP to June 9th
