Make an immediate impact in the Baltimore area by providing vital support and guidance to students as a School Psychologist! This contract position is scheduled to begin on August 31, 2026, and runs through June 17, 2027, offering the chance to work on-site with a dedicated team of education professionals. At 37.5 hours per week, you’ll help students reach their full potential while collaborating with school staff and families.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or PhD in School Psychology
- Valid state certification or licensure to practice as a School Psychologist
- Familiarity with school-based evaluation procedures and intervention strategies
- Current on House Bill 486 requirements, including background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students across a range of ages
- Develop and recommend intervention strategies to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional challenges
- Collaborate with general/special education staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Consult with parents, teachers, and administrators to foster a positive educational environment
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
- Serve as an active member of multi-disciplinary teams
