Qualifications:
- Master’s or PhD in School Psychology
- Current certification or state licensure as a School Psychologist
- Demonstrated knowledge of psychological assessments, counseling techniques, and intervention strategies within educational environments
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Understanding of IEP processes and federal/state special education regulations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to interpret results and recommend interventions
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with identified needs
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative services
- Support positive behavioral intervention strategies and promote emotional well-being
- Maintain confidential and up-to-date student records
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings
