Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active school psychologist licensure or certification (or eligibility for licensure in Maine)
  • Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and evaluations
  • Strong skills in counseling, consultation, and intervention planning
  • Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and special education guidelines preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive student assessments and interpret psychological data
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop individualized education plans
  • Provide direct counseling services to students as needed
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support academic and behavioral interventions
  • Serve as a resource for crisis prevention and response
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all ethical and legal guidelines
