A full-time school psychologist position is available for the 2026-2027 school year within a K-12 supervisory union in Vermont. Job Type: Contract, full school year (NSY)
Setting: K-12 school district with one psychologist serving the entire supervisory union
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive cognitive assessments and evaluations for students, including assessments related to moderate autism
- Perform psychological testing, classroom observations, and participate in meetings for complex cases, primarily in-person
- Complete report writing and documentation tasks remotely, allowing flexibility in work location
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Apply knowledge of Vermont Special Education law to ensure compliance and best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed or certified school psychologist with experience in K-12 educational settings
- Familiarity with Vermont Special Education regulations and guidelines
- Skilled in cognitive and autism spectrum disorder assessments
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid model
