Qualifications and Desired Skills:
- Possess (or be eligible for) all state-mandated credentials for a School Psychologist
- Demonstrated experience providing psychological services within a school setting
- Ability to build meaningful relationships with students, families, and staff
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners and promoting an inclusive environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs, supporting eligibility for special education services
- Work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop and implement effective interventions and supports
- Provide individual and group counseling for students addressing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Participate in student support team and IEP meetings, providing insight and guidance
- Consult with families and school staff to ensure coordinated services for students
- Maintain detailed and confidential records consistent with school and legal guidelines
