Key Qualifications:

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a School Psychologist per Vermont state requirements
  • Experience with psychoeducational assessments and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Skilled at interpreting data and translating findings into meaningful recommendations
  • Committed to fostering inclusive, supportive school environments
  • Able to work on site for the duration of the assignment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Complete psychological and academic assessments to guide student support services
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention strategies
  • Provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention as needed
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and assist in eligibility determination
  • Support students at various grade levels, with specific details discussed during interviews
  • Maintain compliance with legal and ethical guidelines in all professional activities
