Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (applicable state credentials required)
- Previous experience working in elementary school settings preferred
- Strong skills conducting evaluations and assessments for students K-6
- Knowledge of MTSS, RTI, and special education processes
- Effective communication with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Collaborative approach with a passion for supporting diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for elementary students
- Gather, interpret, and report assessment data to inform educational planning
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to design interventions
- Support student social-emotional and behavioral needs through consultation and direct services
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical best practices at all times
This contract spans the academic year from August 26, 2026, to June 15, 2027, and offers the chance to foster student development. With a manageable K-6 caseload in a small school, you’ll have the opportunity to cultivate lasting relationships and see your influence firsthand.
