Middle School Elementary School Psychologist in Barre, VT

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Valid licensure as a School Psychologist
• Certification appropriate to the role
• Experience providing psychological services within elementary, middle, and/or high schools
• Ability to conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and support student success
• Strong communication skills to engage with students, families, and school staff

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education services
• Deliver counseling and intervention strategies tailored to individual and group needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and monitor support plans
• Assist teachers and administrators in creating and maintaining safe, inclusive environments
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and other student-centered planning sessions
• Support students’ mental health and promote positive behavior through evidence-based methods
