Step into a vital role supporting students from kindergarten through twelfth grade as a School Psychologist across multiple school sites near Baton Rouge, LA. This contract position spans the academic year, beginning with a couple of professional development days on July 27, 2026, and concluding May 24, 2027. You’ll work part-time (29 hours per week) with flexibility for a hybrid schedule, collaborating within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team dedicated to serving diverse student needs.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Louisiana Department of Education certification in School Psychology.
- Demonstrated expertise in psychoeducational evaluations and compliance with IDEA.
- Proven ability to interpret assessment data and generate thorough, actionable evaluation reports.
- Comprehensive understanding of special education eligibility and multidisciplinary team collaboration.
- Exceptional communication skills for explaining results and recommendations to educators, families, and students.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to meet deadline-driven evaluation requirements.
- Prior work with educational diagnosticians, social workers, SLPs, and administrators.
- Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Serve as a core member of campus-based teams, conducting educational assessments and submitting timely, comprehensive reports.
