Qualifications:
- Active Louisiana DOE School Psychology certification.
- Expertise in psychoeducational evaluations and IDEA compliance.
- Experience interpreting assessment data and effective evaluation reporting.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills for maintaining timely compliance.
- Collaborative mindset for working with multidisciplinary school teams.
- Bilingual skills are a plus!
- Completion of district background check/fingerprinting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs; submit timely written reports.
- Refer students and families to community resources as appropriate.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and school staff to implement student support strategies.
- Interpret and communicate assessment results clearly to all stakeholders.
- Maintain thorough case records and participate in professional development.
- Attend professional development days at the start of the contract.
