Soliant is partnering with a welcoming school district near the Kalamazoo area to hire a full-time School Psychologist for the upcoming school year. This is an excellent opportunity to work with students across grades K-12 while collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to promote student achievement and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Provide psychological services to students in grades K-12 across multiple school buildings.
  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to help determine eligibility for special education services.
  • Analyze assessment results and translate findings into practical recommendations that support student success.
  • Prepare clear, thorough evaluation reports while maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers to develop effective intervention strategies.
  • Serve as an active member of building support teams, helping address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns.
  • Participate in MTSS and RTI processes by reviewing student data, monitoring progress, and recommending appropriate interventions.
  • Attend eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings while providing professional guidance regarding assessment results and student needs.
  • Travel between assigned school sites as part of an itinerant schedule.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology
  • Active Michigan School Psychologist certification/licensure
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing evaluation reports
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Previous school-based experience is preferred
