School Psychologist - Battle Ground, WA

As a valued contract School Psychologist, you'll work full-time, Monday through Friday, providing crucial assessment and counseling services for students with a wide range of disabilities, from mild to severe. Located in the community near Battle Ground, WA, you'll play a vital role in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

In this position, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop strategies that help students thrive both academically and emotionally. This opportunity offers a compensation of $55 to $65 per hour in recognition of your valuable expertise and commitment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Washington State certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience supporting students at the elementary and/or middle school levels
• Knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies across a variety of disabilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with teachers, families, and staff
• Ability to provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention as needed
• Comfortable managing a diverse caseload and creating effective IEP recommendations

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to support educational planning
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and intervention strategies
• Deliver individual and group counseling to address students’ social-emotional needs
• Consult with teachers and staff regarding academic and behavioral supports
• Participate actively in meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state guidelines
