A school-based opportunity is available for experienced School Psychologists who thrive supporting diverse student populations, from preschool through high school. This full-time, on-site contract position begins August 24th, 2026 and extends through June 16th, 2027. The role is exclusively in-person, ensuring direct collaboration with students and educational staff in Wilmington, DE.
Key Qualifications:
- Active DE School Psychologist licensure (must be current and provided during application)
- Prior school-based experience preferred, especially in Early Years/Preschool settings
- Skilled in psychoeducational evaluations, data interpretation, and comprehensive report writing
- Demonstrated experience participating in IEP meetings and working with multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable managing a varied caseload across multiple age groups and supporting multiple school sites
- Reliable transportation to ensure on-site presence throughout the week
- Flexibility to complete required fingerprinting within the first days of work (at candidate's upfront cost)
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for students in preschool, elementary, and high school
- Write clear, actionable reports supporting instruction and intervention
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering expertise in assessment and intervention planning
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and district support staff to address student needs
- Provide consultation and recommendations to support student academic and behavioral success
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation for all cases and maintain strong communication with school teams
