Step into a rewarding role supporting students with an immediate full-time contract opportunity as a School Psychologist. This position is an urgent backfill need and will run from as soon as possible through the end of the school year. You’ll play a vital part in delivering high-quality psychological services in an educational setting, collaborating closely with students, educators, and families to promote positive learning outcomes.

Qualified candidates may apply even with a pending Delaware license, and the district welcomes applicants ready to contribute immediately. This assignment also offers a flexible HYBRID schedule, allowing for one to two days per week to be completed remotely.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Ability to secure (or currently hold) Delaware state licensure; pending license considered
• Experience conducting assessments, developing intervention strategies, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective consultation with teachers, staff, and families
• Commitment to supporting diverse student populations and fostering an inclusive educational environment
• Familiarity with IEP development and compliance with special education regulations

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to support student learning and development
• Develop, implement, and monitor behavioral interventions and support plans
• Consult with general and special education teachers to address student needs
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
• Deliver direct counseling and crisis intervention support as needed
• Collaborate with families to help them understand and address students’ academic and emotional challenges
