This contract opportunity is perfect for a School Psychologist with a passion for trauma-informed practices and expertise supporting students with significant social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist credential
  • Strong background in behavioral counseling and assessment
  • Experience with Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
  • Excellent consultation skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Expertise in trauma-informed care and crisis response
  • Participation in IEP and Section 504 processes

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and small-group counseling to students with intensive needs
  • Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations
  • Complete FBAs and support the creation, implementation, and monitoring of BIPs
  • Contribute to MTSS implementation and collaborate with classroom staff
  • Attend IEP and Section 504 meetings to share expertise and recommendations
  • Participate in crisis response teams and help develop safety plans
  • Develop transition plans to support successful student reintegration into home schools
  • Record and utilize data to inform student progress and adjust interventions as needed
