We’re partnering with a supportive school district in the Charleston area to hire a licensed School Psychologist for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a high-impact role working with a collaborative SPED team that values strong clinical judgment and compliance expertise.
Position Details:
- Full-time, onsite
- 2026–2027 school year
- K–12 caseload (assigned based on experience)
- Structured support from district leadership and special education team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
- Interpret assessment data and develop clear, legally compliant reports
- Lead and participate in IEP and eligibility meetings
- Provide evidence-based recommendations for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
- Support MTSS/RTI processes and progress monitoring
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Active South Carolina School Psychologist license required (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Experience conducting evaluations and writing reports in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of IDEA, special education compliance, and eligibility criteria
