In this essential role, you will grow as a School Psychologist in the Promising Students Program, serving students with intensive behavioral and social-emotional needs. Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification/license (South Carolina eligibility preferred)
  • Strong background in behavioral and counseling psychology
  • Experience with trauma-informed practices and interventions
  • Proficiency in administering psychoeducational and behavioral assessments

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and small-group counseling services
  • Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations
  • Perform Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
  • Develop and monitor effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Support implementation of MTSS and data-driven practices
  • Consult and collaborate with educators and families
  • Participate in IEP and Section 504 meetings
  • Provide crisis response, safety planning, and transition planning for students
