This contract position offers a flexible 0.5 FTE schedule for the 2026–2027 school year, engaging closely with educators, counselors, special education staff, and families in a welcoming and collaborative educational setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and evaluations for high school students
- Participate in eligibility and reevaluation meetings as part of the special education process
- Prepare, develop, and interpret detailed assessment reports
- Work with IEP and multidisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate student support
- Consult with staff and families regarding students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Assist in intervention planning, progress monitoring, and crisis intervention as required
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation in line with district and state guidelines
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a closely related discipline
- Hold, or be eligible to obtain, Oregon School Psychologist licensure
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Proven ability to effectively support high school students, staff, and families
